13244722122The coloring methods for silicone products mainly include the following:
Directly add color masterbatch to the silicone raw material, stir evenly, and then form. This method requires attention to the compatibility between the color masterbatch and the silicone raw material to avoid quality issues. Use transfer printing or screen printing to print patterns and colors on silicone products. This method requires the use of ink, and attention should be paid to the adhesion and durability of the ink. Spray colors onto silicone products using a spray coating method. This method requires the use of spraying materials, and attention should be paid to the adhesion and durability of the spraying materials. Regardless of the method used, it is necessary to select appropriate coloring methods and materials based on specific products and requirements, and carry out corresponding quality control to ensure the quality and reliability of the product.
How to Color Silicone Products
At present, there are two main methods for mixing and coloring silicone rubber: solution method and mixing method. Among them, the mixing method includes several methods such as dry powder coloring, color paste coloring, particle coloring, and masterbatch coloring.
Solution staining.
This method involves dissolving rubber in a good solvent into a solution of a certain concentration, then adding rubber compounding agents except for sulfur and sulfur, stirring evenly, drying at a certain temperature to remove the solvent, and finally adding sulfur to the rubber mixer. This dyeing method has complex operations, uneven dispersion of colorants and blending agents, poor color, difficulty in solvent recovery, and causes environmental pollution. Currently, its application is limited.
2. Mixing and dyeing.
This is currently the commonly used coloring method for silicone products, which involves adding colorants directly to the carrier, or mixing with fillers before adding the rubber material, and stirring evenly with a rubber mixer to color the rubber.
Take the following measures:
The dry powder coloring method is to directly mix the powder coloring agent and small materials in rubber and mix them on the open mill. This method has the advantages of simple operation, low cost, high mixing process dust, difficulty in dispersion, and poor coloring. However, due to the coarse particles, it can cause contamination of color spots, stripes, or chromatography, and is currently less commonly used. For convenience of use, powder colorants can be made into pre dispersible agents together with stearic acid, sulfates, etc., and sold in the market.
There are two main methods for preparing particle colorants. Like other powder compounding granulation methods, the powder coloring agent is first soaked with surfactants, then extruded into particles by wax melting or resin melting. Then, the coloring agent is soaked with surfactants, and the particles of the coloring agent are refined by mechanical force to obtain a certain concentration of dispersion. It is then co precipitated with latex, dried, and rolled into pellets. Mainly anionic and non-ionic surfactants, such as fatty acid salts and sulfonates, are used in latex. Natural latex is generally used.
This particle coloring agent is easy to use, has good dispersibility, no dust flying, does not pollute the environment, has bright colors, uniform color distribution, and no color difference. It is a very promising coloring method.
很有发展前景的着色方法。
